With more than 14 years of experience across human resources, leadership, healthcare, retail, nonprofit, and small business environments, Thomas brings a practical, people-centred approach to HR. His work includes employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, leadership coaching, recruitment, onboarding, policy development, training, and HR strategy.
Thomas is especially passionate about helping small businesses and nonprofits access thoughtful HR support before things become overwhelming.
Outside of work, he is a proud Dungeons & Dragons nerd, storyteller, community builder, and pattern-spotter who brings curiosity, humour, and a little quest energy to everything he does.


Human Resources Administrator
Fraser Sockett knows that great HR is built on the details. As our HR HeRo, Fraser supports the behind-the-scenes work that helps client projects move forward, including HR documentation, research, recruitment support, onboarding materials, policy development, and practical project coordination.
Fraser holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management from NAIT and is completing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management. Before moving into HR, Fraser spent more than a decade in hospitality leadership, including kitchen management and supervisory roles, where he developed strong skills in training, communication, conflict resolution, teamwork, and staying steady when things get busy.
Fraser brings curiosity, humour, and a genuine care for people into his work. He is passionate about workplace culture, psychological safety, and helping people feel supported at work, making him a natural fit for the Stenson HR Consulting team.
HR Consultant and Leadership Development Specialist
Shakera brings a calm, thoughtful presence to complex people challenges. As our People Operations Sorcerer, she helps organizations strengthen workplace culture, support employees effectively, and build environments where people feel valued, engaged, and motivated to do great work.
At Stenson HR Consulting, Shakera supports organizations with practical HR advice, employee relations, leadership coaching, workplace investigations, policy development, onboarding, training, and culture building. She has more than eight years of experience working with organizations and teams, helping leaders navigate people challenges and develop stronger workplace systems.
Shakera also holds a Master of Education specializing in Adult and Community Learning, which makes her a powerful guide in the leadership development and training space. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a grounded sense of humour to the team, along with a deep commitment to helping leaders grow into the people their teams need them to be.
